Journey to Manhood

I am experimenting with a completely analog GTD system today. I recently have used my iPhone and Mac with Things or Omnifocus. I have been very pleased with both of those products. They provide the ability to have all my projects and lists on me at all times.

To be completely honest, I am not sure why I want to switch to a paper method. I am actually not completely certain I do. I do, however, want to give it a try. The idea fascinates me. I love journaling and I love the feel of real things. I love technology, but there is something nice and good about the feel of a real notebook in your hands that you use a real pen to put real ink on real paper.

This may be a very short expiriment, but we’ll see.

For the Moleskine geeks out there; I am using a cashiers in my back pocket as an Inbox, an 18month Pocket Planner as a calendar and task list for tasks with due dates, and a second cashier for single-action to-do’s and projects. If the system works, Ill post more details on how I do it later.
